8:00am – 12:00pm:  Horns only

1:00pm – 5:00pm:  Guard and Percussion only

     We will be outside for a portion of the morning.  Make sure you have the following:  Flip folders, reeds, and music lyres.  They can be ordered on most music websites such as amazon.com, musicarts.com, guitarcenter.com, straitmusic.com, and a host of others.  You can also visit the closest music stores, which are Lafayette Music in Lake Charles, and Swicegood Music in Nederland, TX.  Make sure to bring water and juices.  Avoid sodas and energy drinks, and please eat breakfast.  Also, bring hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes.  Shorts are permitted.  No pajamas, no flip-flops and no crocs!

You will need to attend all sessions in order to be considered for a spot in the show.  You do not have to choose between athletics and band.  You can do both!  Please keep in mind; we need to prepare in advance in order to be ready for the first football game and marching contest.  Lunch will be served at noon.  In addition to learning a new show, we will be learning both old and new tunes to play at the games and other public performances.
