Merryville 2022 Panther Pride Band Camp

Merryville High School

July 18^th - 22^{rd &} July 25th - 29^th

8:00am – 12:00pm:  All horns 8^th – 12^th grade.

1:00pm – 5:00pm:  All percussion and

                                     color guard 8^th – 12^th grade.

We will be outside for a portion of the time. Make sure you have the following:  Flip folders, reeds, and music lyres.  They can be ordered on most music websites such as amazon.com and woodwind & brasswind wwbw.com.  You can also visit the closest music stores which are Lafayette Music in Lake Charles, and Swicegood Music in Beaumont. Make sure to also bring water, juices, etc. (avoid sodas and energy drinks) hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes.  No flip flops or crocs!

This year’s show is ‘Into the Light’.  You will need to attend all sessions in order to be considered for a spot in the show.  Please keep in mind; we need to prepare in advance in order to be ready for the first football game and marching contests.  In addition to learning this great show, we will be learning both old and new tunes to play at the football games.
